All I will state in FW for example is that i found myself on a U.S server in TEXAS CCP Tnx for such a great online experience Shame my server settings is set to EUROPE! NomaDz 2K The Rainbow Effect 143	Posted - 2014.04.24 02:48:00 - [4] - Quote Well at least SOE will have dedicated REGIONAL servers for PLANETSIDE 2, this is the closest thing to MAG and soon on the PS4 and considering SONY is backing up the work on PS2, i'm pretty sure we'll get what we deserve with Planetside 2 on te PS4. Even the 1st Planetside back in 2003 had Regional Servers and 10 years later it can only be better connectionwise DON'T SPEND CA$H ON DUST 514 CCP WILL ONLY GIVE YOU AUR AFTER THEY REMOVE YOUR BPOs WHICH U SPENT REAL MONGé¼Y ON!

Let's be honest, ccp. How could you expect people to play with such a huge delay?In an Fps 60 ms are the difference between life and death, 100 ms are the difference between own or getting owned, 200+ is just...shameful Believe me i share your pain. Those which can remember, well all I can say is, You know full well I can provide U with the Info and explain how to do it yourself to see with your own eyes but then U will have to make a strong decision. This means either stop playing DUST and move onto something which actually provides the right service for FPS players or take DUST for what it is and continue to play it. I would like to state that even in MAG we didn't change the situation of server migration and therefore I seriously doubt CCP will make any changes , especially due to player count, keep in mind this will be their EXCUSE. They will tell U that CUES will be longer, this is true BUT the gameplay would be more fluid, more enjoyable, less if NO LAG almost. All I can do is provide public awareness This will only prove that what U R experiencing is totally true, U die due to LAG and latency issues - NOT because you lack skill or whatever a troll mail might say but U fail due to technical issues which are beyond your capability to resolve. If people WANT to get into a FAST GAME just LEAVE the AUTOMATIC server selection as it is - BUT IF people wish to Select THEIR OWN REGION, LET THEM STAY ON IT AND STOP SHAFTIN PEOPLE AROUND CCP. NomaDz 2K The Rainbow Effect 151	Posted - 2014.04.29 13:19:00 - [8] - Quote All I can say is i'm shocked and ashamed to be part of this community due to the fact that I still find Topics based upon HIT DETECTION. The problem is NOTHING TO DO WITH HIT DETECTION, it's about what YOU Select as a Server and WHERE CCP ARE SENDING YOU This is why with 200ms PING and after covering over 20 internet nodes/bridges your HIT DETECTION is SCREWED. Therefore this obviously affects your hit detection, if U have a HIGH Ping, due to distance from your region to another, on average you cover at least 20 YES TWENTY internet Nodes - BRIDGES from your ISP to a server in another region. Each and every time you cross a bridge to reach your final destination, as in game server, it effects your ping, therefore also the level of latency and LAG. In otherwords your ingame connection to the servers becomes unbalanced, it's no longer as stable as what it was. This is a CORE GAMING MECHANIC, a CORE PROBLEM with DUST 514. If this issue isn't resolved then U will NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO PLAY DUST on a Competative level. If more people which play DUST were to TRACE their connection directly to the game server, they will find themselves not getting served, as in you will find yourself in another region. This might be perfectly fine for those which don't understand anything on a technical level but please do not complain about HIT DETECTION cause U got what THEY GAVE U - as in CCP SHAFTED your connection elsewhere. The problem at hand effects EVERY DUST player, some more and others less. The point is you can't play PC or FW on a competative level due to this reason since you're already gimped from the start because CCP sends you elsewhere(out of your region). Now how can this be resolved AUTOMATIC Server selection stays EXACTLY the same but uses servers ONLY for this purpose. Regional Selection should have a REGIONAL LOCK - NOBODY OUTSIDE your own region should be able to join your REGIONAL SELECTED Server. It's Very Simple, if U want a fast game select AUTOMATIC Servers in options so U get dumped in servers anywhere in the world for a faster cue time so you join a game faster. However if U select your own region U will ONLY find players from the SAME REGION, thus reducing LAG, Latency and obviously obtaining a lower PING due to the fact that you will croos less internet bridges to reach your Game Server (Destination). If CCP don't do this or you like it as it is, please don't come here and complain about Hit detection or LAG cause i've explained why. If only more people from this community had the ballz to come forwards and state on a technical level where they are actually pinging the server and prove that this is happening, maybe CCP might just change something to make it happen, if not please continue to enjoy this broken game. NB If U wish to do this experiment and post up the results, I am more than happy to explain in full detail how to do this. Infact it's very simple U don't have to be a Computer N3RD to get the results, U will need a PC , 2 LAN Cards and a very simple App to do so but U will see the truth which CCP are tring to hide from U ALL. After this post I doubt i'll bother posting anything else unless related to this topic due to the fact that if the majority don't care, well tbh i've got a PS4, PC, 360 and PS3 and have many other games i'd rather dedicate my personal time too, rather than waste time with such ignorant people, especially those which continue to defend this broken game. If i'm online in Dust, I'd rather pass my time AFK or maybe bypass my internet connection to make sure I play in my OWN REGION kktnxbb.
